Long time lurker, first time poster here. Does anyone remember the story of the gun which was linked to a homicide that had belonged to an owner in which the gun was placed between two sheets in his house, taken, and then placed back there after the homicide? This might be the Pizza Delivery murder, I'm not sure, but it's extremely mysterious.
I was reading something later on the internet where they did ballistics on the gun again and found that it wasn't necessarily the murder weapon in the crime. Did anyone else read or see anything like this? I'm just trying to confirm, otherwise this is one of the most odd cases featured. |

I believe the pizza man was named Morris Davis, and the crime happened in Great Falls, MT. To my knowledge, it is still unsolved.... I'm not sure about what happened with the gun test, but I'm sure you'll be able to find it if you Google it.

I found an old link about it. It gives a little info but unfortunately the link to the article is no longer valid:

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Yes, it looks like Kane explained how he found another article that showed how the tests were inaccurate and that it wasn't the right gun in the first place. Nonetheless the story is still quite interesting. The cruelty involved in prank-calling to an abandoned house just to murder some random person makes me angry. Thanks for providing this information.
