Does she eventually die on the show?

I think she was on the show until the end, but I'm not positive. I haven't seen the "New Beginning" episodes in ages.

She was on til' the end of the last season but missed the last few episodes and just disappeared. All of the sudden, Willie was running the restaurant. I did not like that. At least give the character a farewell.

Ketty Lester had a hit single in the 1950s with "Love Letters". After LH, I believe she recorded a gospel album. Last I heard, she's now retired from show biz.

I hadn't really thought about it, but you're right, we don't see her in the
final episodes. Willie has taken over the restaurant & hotel. I could be
mistaken, but I believe she might be the the last movie called "The Last
Farewell." She may not even have a speaking part in this movie, but I
think she is in it. However, I could be wrong.
