BCI will be releasing 2 Family Feud DVD's 'Soon'! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

According to the forums over at GSN.com, it shows that BCI will be releasing 2 DVD's of Family Feud, which has just begun production. The first will be "The Best of Family Feud" and the second will be "The Best of the All Star Family Feud" consisting of episodes from the All Star celebirty specials. No date is tentative yet.

The all-star specials sound so fun. I hope that all the discs work unlike for most folks who first got the Match Game set.

In my opinion, that Match Game set was a disaster. The first copy I got, none of the discs worked. The second copy I got, only the second disc worked. The third copy I got, every disc worked except for the third, but I kept it anyways.

It looks like November is the month for the all star set. No date has been given yet. The Best of Family Feud set is said to follow in early 2008, with special features on both.

Only a photo gallery, as of now, will be included in the November release of THE ALL-STAR SPECIALS, and multiple special features will be accessible on the THE BEST OF FAMILY FEUD early 2008 release. Both will be multi-disc sets.

I"m looking forward to both releases, but more towards the Allstar edition. It'll be nice if they include The Jeffersons vs. Eight is Enough and Three's Company vs. Eight is Enough episodes, because I haven't ever seen GSN air them, and it would be nice to see them uncrunched again.

This is great news. I got "The Best Of Match Game" and im happy to say that the whole set meaning all 4 discs, all 30 episodes, the 1962 pilot of "The Match Game", and all the special features all played great. I had no problems at all. I am looking forward to buying both "Family Feud" DVD sets. I never saw the "All-Star Family Feud" episodes but I look forward to seeing these episodes when I buy the set. These episodes sound fun and interesting. I hope BCI releases Best of sets of other great game shows like "Password Plus" "Press Your Luck", and "The Nighttime Price Is Right" (the 1985 to 1986 nighttime syndicated version hosted by Tom Kennedy).
