Which shows used "For He's A Jolly Good Fellow"? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Good Times did, twice. The first was in "Too Old Blues" where they sang "for he's a groovy dude" to the tune of "For He's A Jolly Good Fellow". Then Thelma, Michael and Flo sang the original version in the third season, I believe in "The Mural".

On Everybody Loves Raymond, Ray sang the song at Robert's bachelor party (with the "Congratulations Woody" banner...

). The WJM crew sang it to Mary on MTM.

I know it's been used in many other shows that I can't recall. Can anyone fill in the blanks??

It was used on The Flintstones for Fred's bday.
It may have also been sung on The Munsters.

In Three's Company--the episode when Larry streaked.

Oh yeah, and in Benson they sang it for Marcy when she left, but of course they sang "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow".

On M*A*S*H they used it at least three times:

Season 1 - Edwina (lyrics changed to for she's a jolly good fellow)
Season 3 -Abyssinia, Henry
Season 4 - The Late Captain Pierce (lyrics changed to for he was a jolly good fellow)

they through Gilligan a party because they think he's only got one day to live
and i think they sang it when they gave the Skipper a b-day party
