Post Missing Scene

After watching last night's episode this is scene that I felt should've been there. It's short because it's just a little addition and I really should be writing a memo on campus parking for my public administration class which I really don't want to write as you all can see. Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think.

Later in the afternoon after Allison and Emily left.

Jo is outside messing with her bike not really paying attention to what she’s doing. Why can’t I do this? Come on Jo, you’ve done this hundreds of times before. Damn. Throws down the tool in frustration.

Blair wanders up the walkway and sees Jo’s failed attempts to fix her bike or at least she thinks they are failed attempts…..

Blair: Hi Jo, Having some problems there?
Jo: Go away, I don’t feel like dealing with you now!
Blair: Well lack of sleep definitely puts you in a different mood.
Jo: Blair, I said it once, I’m going to say it again—LEAVE ME ALONE!!
Blair: You’ve been working on that bike all day, something’s up with you, so why don’t you just tell me and we can solve it!
Jo: You couldn’t understand Allison and you’re surely not going to understand me.
Blair: Why don’t you try instead of making assumptions about me. Maybe I didn’t understand Allison at first, but I have a better grasp of it now. Let me try to help you.
Jo: OK, you want to know what’s bothering me, your friend Allison, well, what if Eddie and I had gone along with our plans last year to marry. That could’ve been me!
Blair: But you aren’t Allison. You had enough sense to stop before you did marry Eddie. She didn’t and I hate to say it, but your more mature then Allison.
Jo: Blair, last year I was hell-bent on getting married. I just wanted someone I knew would be there for me after the great example my mother was setting. Now, I know Mrs. G. will be there for me, but last night with Emily, that just stirred up a lot of thoughts on what my life could’ve been like. I almost threw away my education and my friends for misery. Who knows what would’ve happened with Eddie or what if we hadn’t been careful enough?
Blair: You allowed your common sense to come through. Of course, I did try to convince you.
Jo: Yea, you were really successful. I ran out of here because of the junk you kept telling me!
Blair: Let me finish. I hate to admit it, this really is hard to say, but you would’ve made it. It would’ve been a long road, but you survived your neighborhood and are doing wonderful here.
Jo: I guess, but I still can’t get it off my mind. You helped a little bit. I definitely can’t work on this anymore. You wanna go get something to eat.
Blair: Sure.
Jo: And Blair, thanks.
Blair: No Problem. I like helping out friends.
