My father, Lawrence Menkin, wrote many of the popular TV shows of the 50's and 60's. I donated most of his scripts and other information to the American Heritage Foundation of the University of Wyoming. The university has a collection of the works of television and movie writers and other memorabilia. If you are interested in seeing the original material, contact the American Heritage Foundation at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. You can also email me at mmenkin@hotmail.com.

What about 16mm prints? Did he save any of those from the shows he wrote?

Unfortunately my father did not save Kiniscopes of his shows. Kniscopes have very poor quality so he did not bother to save them for that reason. I do have many video tapes of him teaching in the 1970's and 1980's. I also have videos of commercials he made for television in the 1970's and 1980's. I have three large 78rpm radio record recordings made in the 1940's and some tapes of his radio documentaries which are re-recordings from originals. I plan to donate this all to the University of Wyoming. I have his professional scrapebooks and awards.
