(everyone stares at Tootie worriedly)

Natalie: What do you mean, no Mrs. G?
Tootie: Well, she was in the hall when we were getting our stuff, right?
Blair: Don't ask us! We're asking YOU!
Tootie: But then it's like... she disappeared!
Jo: Maybe she went to see how bad it was raining.
Tootie: Well, maybe but still...
Blair: How about you study and leave the worrying to... (smiles at Jo) Jo?
Jo: Me? I'm - I'm studying too you know!
Blair: You're the one who's told us about the storm and you've seemed to taken the most charge!
Jo: How the heck am I supposed to study and take charge?
Tootie: Aw, Jo...
(Jo sighs)
Jo (sarcasticaly): You know what? I'll check to see where she is. I won't study. I won't..
Tootie (not catching sarcasm): Oh, Jo, you're the best!
Jo: I know... I know...
Tootie: She's so modest, guys!
(Jo shrugs and leaves, shaking her head.)

(About a half hour later, Jo is still looking around for Mrs. Garrett, shining her flashlight everywhere)
Jo: Mrs. Garrett? Mrs. G... we're all looking for you! C'mon out where ever you... oh, Mrs. G... (yells): Mrs. G we need you!

(back at Edna's Edibles. The girls hear Jo and roll their eyes.)
Blair: Mrs. G's really going to hear Jo with that. "Come on out where ever you are..." that'll call her, Jo, that'll call her.
Tootie: You know what I think she did?
Nat: What?
Tootie: Call to see if the exams are still on.
Nat: Brilliant idea but - if the power's out, aren't the phones out?
Tootie: I'm going to go help Jo.
Nat: Me too.
Blair: What should I do? Sit here and wait for Edna Garrett to return from wherever?
Nat: You can help.

(the girls run in to the hall where Jo's still looking. As if on cue, Blair bumps into her. Jo turns around)
Jo: Blair!
Blair: Don't go for the batteries (rubs her head again)... I'm sorry... I'm...
Jo: I'm sorry, I'm just looking for Mrs. G.
Nat: Hey, we could start studying the way people leave during a thunderstorm!
Jo: You mean a HURRICANE!
Tootie: Tornado!
Blair: Can we stop predicting natural disasters here? And find Mrs. G?
(suddenly an extra flashlight goes on. It belongs to Mrs. G and she walks over, from where she was, and taps Blair on the shoulder)
Mrs. Garrett: I'm right here.
Blair: fUNNY... I can even hear Mrs. G now..
Jo: Blair, you're so stupid! She's.. Mrs. G, where'd you come from???!?
Mrs. Garrett: I was at Eastland checking with the teachers over exams... they're canceled.
Tootie: Celebrate, good times, uhhuh!
Mrs. Garrett: And so are Langley's!
Blair: Celebrate good times, uhhuh!
(everyone stares at Blair)
Blair: What? I'm just celebrating no exams!
(keeps singing as everyone starts laughing, then joining in!)

thanx!! glad you liked it ~ now i'm done exams too so if i can, i'll post some other fan fics... now all i have to do exam wise is wait to see what I got!!!
