Does anyone still have a copy of the Sally McNelly case? I dated her in high school. I knew that they profiled her case, but I have never seen the episode.

Sally McNelly... the "Shane and Sally" segment? I believe it's available on one of Crystaldawn's collections. PM her for the details.

We'd love to hear anything you have to say about Sally. Her death was such a strange one... do you really think she was involved in Satanism, or was that a detail that was over-elaborated by the UM production crew? In any case, I'm sorry for your loss. Everything I know about Sally suggests that she was a really sweet girl.

Yes I do have that one so email or pm me if you're interested. Actually I sent another one of Sally's friends a copy of the segment a few years ago. She was living in another country and hadn't even known that Sally had been murdered until she heard about the UM segment.

Do you know if there have been any arrests in their murders?

I have never actually seen the episode about her, but friends that have seen it told me about it. It was a very long time ago, but I will tell you my opinion:
Sally was a very sweet girl who had a very tragic life that I am sure is not fully detailed in the program. She was searching for exceptance from someone or anyone, so yes it is possible that she fell in with a bad group of people. I choose not to believe that. It does not sound like the girl I knew.

Sorry that you had to go through all of that with your sister. Sounds like a tragic case.

I'm also sorry to hear more of that didn't come out in the story.

This was a very interesting and disturbing case, I would love to hear more about what these people were like around this time. Did anyone know shane? Were satanic cults prevalent in that area at the time, or was this aspect just over exaggerated in the UM segment. very sad.
