New "Make Room For Daddy" DVD info? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm just wondering if anyone has any information on a new DVD of Make Room For Daddy that was released, according to Amazon, on June 26, 2007 by a company called St. Claire Vision, ASIN: B000OZ2D0G. It sells for $4.95 and had 10 episodes, and according to the picture they include "Danny Has A Baby," "Family Troubles," "Tonsillectomy," "Terry Takes Charge," and six others. I assume this is another public domain release (especially with the news of season 6) but if anyone has any information on this please post and let me know if it's worth searching out!

I've ordered it so I can give you a review when it gets here. The four episodes listed on the box are the first 4 episodes of the second season. If they keep going in order the next 6 would be: Military School, Danny Lands in Pictures, Hollywood Trip, Anniversary, Margaret's Aunt, and Terry's Boyfriend. Since Hollywood Trip, Margaret's Aunt, and Terry's Boyfriend have already been released on other sets, I hope those are skipped over.

Once you get the set please post and let everyone know. For less than $5 it may be worth it, but I just want to see and make sure. Thanks!

Well I ordered it from DVD Pacific and opened it up and noticed that the cover and episodes are different from what is on amazon. Looking at the DVDPacific website the cover is clearly different even though you can't make out the words. Since I wasn't sure if there were 2 dvd's or amazon just had the wrong cover I ordered from amazon too and got the same dvd. No biggie, I'll just give my parents one of them. I don't know if St. Claire pulled a switcheroo or just changed their mind.

The bad news is many of the episodes were already released on other sets. The good news is those episodes were on vhs and I think the quality on this disk is better than those tapes. The really good news is that all but 1 episode include the original opening, closing, and commercials. All the episodes are from the first 4 seasons.

3. The Visiting Englishman(29:31)
4. Who Can Figure Kids?(23:51)
5. The Talented Kid(29:33)

Thanks for the heads up! I have it ordered from Amazon since I had a couple of other things to get, too. I was going to purchase it from one of the used and new dealers on there since one had a new copy listed for something like $1.39 plus shipping, but I was afraid if I bought that one what if it wasn't the correct "Make Room For Daddy" disc! Still, what I'm paying is worth it! Thanks for the heads up!
