just wondering whether anyone has seen the remake of hairspray with michelle phieffer, john travolta, queen latifah and amanda bynes and if so is it any good, seeing as it is coming out in the UK in a week's time. thanks

We (The U.S.) haven't seen it yet. It dosen't come out unti July 20,2007. It looks like a good movie, and I plan to see it.

If anyone really cares the soundtrack for the movie came out today and it was wicked good. I think if the movie is as good as the soundtrack it will be really good.

that's interesting to hear. i will be looking forward to listening to the vocals of travolta, queen latifah, bynes and phieffer. although most of the main cast have had some previous singing/musical experience in one form or the other. likewise, travolta in Grease, latifah in chicago and as a old skool rap artist and phieffer in the fabulous baker boys

i think the movie hairspray looks pretty interesting but i can wait til it comes out on dvd like the other movies.im not really into going to the movies these days no matter how good the movie looks

I just got back from watching Hairspray in theaters and I loved it. It was really good and even my friend who hate musicals loved it.

I went and saw it last night. The theatre in my town sold out every show. It was amazing. I absolutely loved it. I'm definitely planning on seeing it again. Its a definite winner!
