Who thinks that we might get season 3 on dvd?

i think that we will eventually see an even more stripped-down version of the 3rd season set.

although, I don't know what else they can cut out - maybe they will go to double-sided, double layer disks, no menus, and plain cardboard boxes with no artwork to save even MORE money.

this of course would NEVER WORK, because everyone knows that it really doesn't matter how many copies it sells, or how little they spend on producing the sets because everytime someone even MENTIONS the phrase "Happy Days" CBS/Paramount spontanteously hemmorages MILLIONS of DOLLARS.

nope, the only they way they could fix it now would be if they superimposed product placement ads directly INTO the episodes. replace all the original music with commercial jingles, replace Al with the Burger King, the pinball machines with XBOX 360, and every car shown would be replaced with new car ads, eventually they could start replacing actual scenes with animations created by Garry Marshall's grandkids and just have him tell funny anecdotes and do some freestyle jazz scatting.

That's all I'm asking for: a Dvd-Release of all Seasons !!!!

I second that, especially since I'm awaiting for CBS to release HD season 4, but in all likelihood, that might not happen until next spring.

With the quality of the episodes on the Season 2 DVD, I'd make extra sure about the Season 3 disks before replacing the excellent looking episodes I taped off CTS.
