Have any of y'all ever owned computers that were just pieces of crud?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1150, and it overheats within about 15 minutes unless it's on my lap.

Yeah...Dells. My last Inspiron crashed. The repair guy said something in there actually melted.

And I sense the end of our Dimention desktop as well. It's acting all slow and anal.

Actually, I've never owned a comp I didn't cuss at at least twice a week.

My dad has an emachines desktop that gets cursed at several times a week. LOL

I'm among the Dell haters. Always have, always will. Dell only uses Intel processors, which are highly overrated. AMD processors are better, just google both of them and you'll find that most major computer sites recommend AMD.

I have an HP Pavillion dv9000 laptop with a dual-core AMD Turion 64 processor. I bought it from Best Buy, and I absolutely LOVE it.

I just bought a new Macbook Pro, so when it gets here, we'll see how that works out. I kind of want to experiment a little as I've always used PCs until now.
