Coming up to one's job every payday - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone know anyone that does this? My nephew works for the same company I do. We get paid bi-weekly, and his girlfriend comes to the job every payday. That doesn't look good, because she doesn't come up there any other day. It's funny how some people don't know you until you get paid. Not only that, this woman that I work with, she's a divorce mother of five, her ex-husband comes up there every payday as well. That's even more messed up, because he doesn't work and if he does, child support will eat him up. Let someone come on my job every payday, I will have a thing or two to tell them.

I know several women at work that have husbands show up on payday to get their checks. Its like they can't wait to get their hands on it. I don't know their circumstances but I sure couldn't stand to give up my paycheck every week.

Do these men have any shame?! How could any man sponge off their women?

I agree, I think a man's place is at work and let the woman stay home and raise the kids. (If they have any) I guess I am "old school" like that.

Unless of course they really want to work and have a career. Either way, the man should work.
