To each his own I guess.

While Family Guy may not be everyone's cup of tea, I think it's one of the funniest animated programs ever made. It's witty, edgy and at times very clever. It's one of the few programs where a they will do a reference something, and I think i am the only one who gets that joke!

Brilliant stuff!

So it's "Brilliant" to swear and show sexual content? Just shows how sick some people are.

What you may find "sick" others may find entertaining.

I'm sure there's a show or two that you like that I probably don't like, but i certainly am not going to pass judgement on you or call you a name because of the shows you watch.

Since you're new here I'm going to give you a little free advice. You're not going to make many friends around here if you trash people for liking a particular show.

You are right abt that TJL. Not to mention it is AGAINST THE RULES to go make a thread simply to bash a show.

I am a FAMILY GUY fanatic. If you don't like it. Don't watch it and stay away from this board.

Yes, it is against the rules, per Rule #9, but perhaps since LetsGoPens is a new member, he/she was unaware of that.

9. Don't go to another board to post only negative messages.

Well, maybe that should be a rule at IMDB.COM as well. You should see the Message Boards full of people bashing shows, movies and people.

And I was not bashing "Family Guy". It's just wrong for ANY TV show to put sex and language in their show. It does not belong on TV. Period.

Actually, you did bash Family Guy, just look at the title you created for this thread. And for that matter you said I was "sick" for defending the show.

Congats LetsGoPens, you are the first poster in the six years I have been here that I have put on my "ignore" list.

May you have a very short and unhappy time here at Sitcoms Online.

I, for one, love sexual humor. I am an adult, I can handle the idea that people have sex.

If you do not like that type of humor, I suggest you stick to the children's shows. (Just stay away from the Tellie-Tubbies. I hear you might not like one of them. LOL)

There are shows that are a lot more "sexual" than Family Guy. If this show makes you uncomfortable, then I doubt there are many things on TV that would suit you.

Peace.

I can handle that people have sex. It's when people who are not Married to each other have sex that is wrong. It's wrong.

And I like a lot of TV. I just don't get the point as to why people must put that kind of sex on TV, as well as swearing. It does nothing at all to help the story. You can have TV shows without sex or swearing, and they don't have to be children's shows. Family TV is out there. Hollywood keeps asking for "NEW" and "FRESH" ideas, but people keep putting the same crap with swearing and sex on. It's old. It's not good Family TV. We don't need that on TV. WE just don't.

Default "Ignore List"???

I don't care if you put me on your "Ignore List". I don't even think you really did put me on "ignore". I'll bet your going to look at my reply and you won't be able to help but reply to my message. You may not reply, but I fell that you are looking at this, TJL.

I have the right to state what is right and wrong with TV. We all know TV is a lot more bad than it was years ago. There is no question about it.

Different times....nobody is forcing you to watch anything, that is what a remote control is for.

Don't you get it? The point is crap like that should NOT be on TV at ALL. It's hard for Parents to take care of their kids, they don't need that stuff on TV. And people who do watch it need help, big time.
