Default Apartment 291?

In the list of "Behind The Camera" movie discrepancies on http://www.tv.com/threes-company/beh...31/trivia.html, someone wrote the following: "In the movie, they show the filming of the series finale. In the series finale, Terri turns off the light and closes the door to apartment 201. In the movie, Jack turns off the light and closes the door to apartment 291.".

Is this true? I don't have the final episode and can't verify this.

Yes, and if I remember correctly they had Jack close the door in the finale scene when in the actual show it was Terri.

Those "Behind the Camera" movies are pretty trashy, and are always full of errors. The Charlie's Angels one was especially bad.

Your question WAS answered by TVAnalyzer. Hrm...apparently you missed it. :P

This movie was a real joke, it was full of mistakes and the apartment number (291) was one of them.

Default Apartment 291?

I saw the movie again this weekend, because I wasn't sure if in the movie the apartment number was 291, but it was. I didn't see the whole last episode execpt for the last 15 min. and it was Terri who closed the door not Jack.

The movie was pretty good but it did have mistakes in it like the Apt. number and the whole cast was told about the 8th season being the last one in a meeting in Nov. of 83.,before they started to look for a girlfriend for Jack.
In the movie they had Joyce find out the 8th being the last by walking in on auditions for Jack's girlfriend. According to the book about "Three's Company," it didn't happen that way.

Alot of movies and tv series based on true stories are always off base a little.
For example, "Little House on the Prairie" really went off base after Mary went blind, because in the series they had Charles adopt Albert and 2 other kids. In real life Laura's Pa never adopted any kids. They just had the 4 girls and that was it.

They just wanted the movie to have more drama. The movie was really just a parody, And you're right about that. I remember TV Guide said that the 8th season was the last in November 1983 and they didn't announce who was playing Vicky at that time.

The real BIG DIFFERENCE here though is that the Three's Company movie could have easily just referenced the t.v. episodes to verify such minute details such as the apartment number, who shut the door, and all the other stupid errors that each of us caught simply because we are fans and we watched the sitcom. How hard could it have been to just pop in a DVD and check out the minor details?

agmfox8 the movie wasn't on tv recently. I taped the movie on my VCR when TV Land aired the movie during a Three's Company Marathon about a year ago. I just watched the movie again on my VCR this past weekend.
