I can't help it, but whenever I see the actor/politician Fred Thompson, I always remember him playing that a**hole boss of Roseanne's in the first season of the show. He was excellent in that role.
Does anyone know how he came abt to play that role in Roseanne? |

I almost posted about this same thing yesterday! lol
A few weeks ago when I saw her boss on the episode you speak of, I thought, this guy resembles Fred Thompson, so after checking his career out at IMDb sure enough it was him. I'm waiting for the episode to repeat so my husband can see him. On a side note, I couldn't believe how young George Clooney was playing Booker. |

Actually, George Clooney played George on Facts of Life in 1985 and at that time he was 24. When he started playing Booker on Roseanne, he was 27. I knew he couldn't be 24 when he played on Roseanne. George was born in 1961.
He did 11 episodes of Roseanne and the last one was in 1991, by then he was 30. |

Oops! You're right! I blew the math on that one. Checkbook balancing isn't my thing, either!

I knew he was young, but that was WAAAY TOO YOUNG for him to be on Roseanne. He sure was a young thing on Facts of Life though, did you ever see him on Facts of Life?
