I have long been a fan of Roseanne, and an even bigger fan of Sara Gilbert. So I was astounded when browsing through Sara's acting history to find she starred in a TV movie in 2004 called Omagh, and she used my name, well Im Patrick she obviously called herself Patricia.
Like its really weird, when someone you really like in the movie world, just gives herself your name,so eerie, but I like it. |

Yeah, she played Patricia McLaughlin in that very moving AND disturbing film. Are you saying your last name is McLaughlin, too?-- That would really add to the eeriness of it all! Or, were you just talking about the Patrick/Patricia thing? I see you user name includes a "mac," so that must be what you mean-- COOL!

Your unkind remarks are appalling AND uncalled for. Adding a "LOL" to your statement doesn't make it okay. Perhaps a date with Miss Manners would be in order? Treating people like you would like to be treated seems like the better direction to go in. |

That is so cool, mac45! I'm only able to associate with the first name of the "girlfriend" Roseanne told her parents she was with, when in reality, she was sneaking arouind with Dan-- but, I'll take it!

Thanks for sticking up for me sparkley girl lol lol lol lol. When something like that happens you just have this sneaky feeling deep down that you dont want to mention, but somehow hope that Sara chose that name because of all the nice things I have said about her over the years on various forums, she has read them, apparently Sara does surf the net now and again .
Mebbe she saw my name and stuck with it for the film. Then on the other hand perhaps it was some writer who thought it was just a cool name to use in the Irish context of that film. Allthough Im English my great great grand parents are Irish. |
