What back stage problems did Roseanne have?

I've heard that Designing Women had problems. If I remember correctly it was between Delta Burke and the actress that played Julia.

Bewitched - Dick York's chronic back pain caused him to miss so many episodes he eventually had to be replaced.

One Day at a Time - with Mackenzie Phillips' drug addiction; she was fired twice.

Growing Pains - with Tracey Gold's anorexia, she had to be sent to the hospital and written out of several episodes.

But; I saw an interview with Norman Lear on some show YEARS ago, and he was saying that sometimes a shows star will go to a party, or something, and it'll be toward the end of the season for their show, and someone'll come up to them and say something like "Hey, Mr. O'Connor, how's the show going"?(they'll be asking about ALL IN THE FAMILY) and he'll say something like "Oh, it's brutal! If I do it just one more time I'm gonna go crazy". (just kidding, of course) And someone will overhear him, think he's serious and the next day, or a week later or whatever you'll see in the paper or something CARROL O'CONNOR IS TIRED OF ALL IN THE FAMILY AND WANTS TO QUIT.

However, I think I must be remembering it wrong. (a 49 year old memory will do that!

The Brady Bunch, Robert Reed had battles with Sherwood Schwartz over the scripts.

Lost In Space, creator/producer Irwin Allen had battles with the Network over the effects/prop budget and disciplined the actors for laughing at some of the stories by not having them in the episode.

Bonanza, it was said that Pernell Roberts didn't fit in with the rest of the cast members and was a loner.

Gilligan's Island, Tina Louise was under the impression that it was her show and the cast were her supporting players. She wanted to quit when she discovered it was an ensamble cast.

Welcome Back Kotter, Marcia Straussman wanted more to do producer James Komac drew a wedge between Kaplan and Straussman.

Laverne & Shirley, The girls battled each other on the set.

I Love Lucy, Vivian Vance and William Frawley didn't get along in real life. Vivian didn't like being Fred's TV wife she thought he was too old and he took offence and the two disliked each other. Lucy and Desi argued on set and it got worse as their marriage came apart.

The Love Boat. Lauren Tews (sp?) supposedly had a terrible cocaine addiction that led to her being fired.

that 70s show and the problems with lisa robin kelly are well documented also there was some fricton between topher grace and the other guys and i dont know if this is true or not but i read that at one time head 70s show writer mark brazil had a falling out with topher wich lead to topher being canned from another project that mark brazil was working on for him . another show that has has alot of backstage drama is saturday night live
