"Runaway Daughter"

(here it is; the idea FolFanFicQueen had that she said for me to write; like ive said it may be in different parts cuz i dont know if i'll finish it soon since i have major tests next week; but when i DO finish it i'll put it up immediately. Oh... one another thing. in one of the fan fics, someone had blair's husband named blaine. could i use that? if not, thats 'k... i'm just not original on names sometimes... oh, and its reeealy dramatic, so if u like dramatic stories heres one...)

"Runaway Daughter"

Blair and her husband had been yelling every day now about something. She wasn't so sure what it was but he always seemed to be upset, causing her to be upset, and sooner or later causing her daughter Rachel to be upset. Rachel shouldn't even have to go through this, she thought, she's only ten and shouldn't be exposed to us yelling all the time. So she thought, deciding to make peace the minute her husband got home.

Rachel had had plenty enough of it herself. She always thought it would be better if she ran away, so she wouldn't have to deal with it, but she would never know where to go. It was just too much to handle for someone who had grown up with her parents happy and lots of money. "Same as me," Blair would always tell her husband, "until they divorced and I don't want her to become like me!" But Rachel was scared that she would become like her mother and with her parents divorced, it would be the only negative thing that she shared with her mother.

That night, even though Blair had attempted peace, it hadn't worked. Her husband was furious over losing his job and Rachel hadn't even eaten dinner she was so scared. But what Blair didn't know was that Rachel had planned to run away. And this time, she knew just where she was going to go.

Jo lived not at all far away from Blair and in fact lived just about a mile away. It was here Rachel wanted to go. She had grown up listening to stories about Jo, and although she had met her once or twice, she wanted to go over that house and live as long as she could there.

Now, a few hours after Rachel made her decision she headed out. Blair was still yelling but now hysterical, and it was the best thing to do; just leave. She didn't carry anything except, She had found directions from Blair's phone book and not telling her mom she had taken them, headed out.

The doorbell rang. Jo opened the door and saw Rachel standing there.
"Rachel!" Jo opened the door further and looked at her.
"What are you doing here?" Jo asked, looking at the sad looking kid.
"I'm running away," Rachel said "because Mom and Dad are arguing too much."
"Here?" Jo asked.
"It's the only place I can walk to without my feet getting sore." Jo smiled. There was some Blair in Rachel.
"Come in for a little bit but..." Rachel ran in, feeling as if she wanted to live there forever. Which she planned to do.
"How long do you think you'll stay?" Jo asked.
Rachel turned around and stared at Jo. "Forever." She answered this in a sad almost crying voice.
