Hi. I'm new here. Does anyone have this Seinfeld episode either on their computer, dvd or vhs? "The Puerto Rican Day Parade." It never airs and only one I've never seen.
Thanks. |

That one is so funny. I haven't seen it in a long time. What season is that from?

it's from the 8th season; which was their last. It was their last half-hour episode. The next week, they had the one-hour finale.

The only time it ran on NBC was its first run. The day after, a bunch of disgruntled Puerto Ricans protested because of the scene when Kramer was stomping on the flag to put out a fire which he started. Some people have no sense of humor. He wasn't degrading the flag. That just happened to be the thing which caught fire.

I know; I remember hearing that on the news and thinking that same thing.
I think they were also upset because Jerry, Kramer, Elaine and George seemed to be laughing at Puerto-Ricans since the parade was inconvenyencig them. |

Like several other (dead) series I have yet to "wrap up" viewing (still haven't gotten to that "Ally McBeal" finale), I've held off on watching "Puerto Rican Day." It wasn't a conscious decision at the time. Too many other sweeps distractions must have kept me from getting to it before the finale... |
