Default Am I the only one who didn't like Jesse and Becky together?

I always thought that Becky was too quiet and serious for Jesse. She seemed like she was more Danny's type, IMO.

Jesse seemed to independent to ever settle down. They should have kept him the hellraiser he was at the beginning of the show.

No I liked Jesse settling down and becoming a family man....I mean if he was the hellraiser all eight seasons and single and childless it would be like "Cmon when is this guy going to settle down?" and he settled down in Season Four--but Season Three had a sign of settling down (the Dr.Dare thing--remember?) but Seasons One and Two he was that hellraiser and okay at times it did feel too much (him going back to school and wearing those glasses--definitely the anti-Seasons One and Two Jesse) but overall it was good character development. That's really the key word(s) right there.

It would not had been a good image for the show to keep Jesse as a man who takes a walk on the wild side and dating women with three girls in the house. I think it was good that Becky came along and they looked great together and compatible.

I think they were a cute couple. Becky took on a lot marrying Jesse. There's no way I'd go for those living arrangements with my in-laws or my own family for that matter.

Same here. I think it would've been better if Jesse and Becky moved in next door or across the street, much like the housing situation on Everybody Loves Raymond. That way the family would still be together all the time and there wouldn't be 18 billion people living in the same house at once.

I did like Jesse and Becky together. She helped tame him a bit, and he always made her laugh. I also like how terrific a surrogate mother/big sister figure she was to the three girls. It only made sense that Becky would eventually become their aunt. Jesse and Becky were very compatible, but I think them having twins was too much. They didn't need any more kids on that show, but I digress.

I read somewhere (I forget the source) that Becky WAS originally brought on for Danny, but the idea was scratched once producers saw the chemistry between John Stamos and Lori Loughlin. The rest is history.

I just think Jesse settle down way too early in the series. As soon as Season 2 debut he meets Becky and Although they don't officially get together until the episode "A Little Romance" Jesse didn't date any other woman during the first half of that season. If I wrote the show this is how I would have done things. Introduced Becky at the beggining of Season 4. Have them get married and move to the attict Until the beggining of Season 6, and not have Becky get pregnant till the show's final episode, which would include a storyline about Becky and Jesse moving into their own house since Becky is gonna have a baby.

I think they should have moved into a place of their own, period. I mean, come on, living in your brother-in-law's attic? But I guess they wanted Jesse and Becky to stick around.

I liked Jesse and Becky together. I think they are a good couple.
I just don't like that they don't really discipline Nicky and Alex.
