I have seen a couple of UM episodes over the last week that mentioned a mother-daughter fortune telling team that was scamming people out of large sums of money. The first episode contained the segment about the two and how they did their dirty deeds while the most recent segment was an update where a man who was associated with them was arrested. However, the two women themselves had not been found. The two women would get lonely clients going through troubles to bring vast amounts of money with them and then the fortune tellers would pretend to throw the money in a river or lake or destroy it in some other way to get the "devil" out of the client's life. Of course, they simply played a trick on the naive client and pocketed the money (usually in the thousands of dollars) themselves. Does anyone else remember this case and does anyone know if the mother-daughter con artists were ever caught?

Was this Ann Coracelli? If so, it was actually filmed around my hometown of Peoria, IL. It was amazing to see familiar locations in that segment. I never heard of a crew coming to film.

The lady in this gave over $100,000 to this fortune teller and even bought her a Cadillac. A very stupid woman

I believe Ann's mother was later arrested. Ann, however, has never been found, but on the new Unsolved mysteries, it was said that the statue of limitations has run out on the crimes that Ann commited and she is no longer a wanted fugitive.
