An Old SO member is stalking me and I need help - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I don't know if any of you remember KristenHerreraFan but basically the little bastard won't leave me alone. Every month or so I'll get an IM from him or a "friend" He used to talk to some of my friends here and I about a year ago, and he was a pain in the ass from the start and because we said we wanted nothing to do with him, he got pissed. We clearly stated that we wanted him to leave us alone and finally, though angry, he said he would. But then I get these IM's from him pretending like nothing happened, or just messing with me. He'll say he's someone else but always eventually say it's Travis. I'll yell at him to leave me alone and he just complains about how much he hates us and how much we angered him. I must've gotten at least 5 different SN's from him or people claiming to be a "friend" of his, and each time I tell him to leave me alone. It's starting to creep my out that he won't give up on it. I know most of you will say to change my SN but that is way too much of a pain for me to do. I don't know how to get rid of him, or how to get him to leave me alone. I'm creeped out by this kid...I really DON'T know him, or what he's capable of and I don't want my friends or myself to get hurt. Does anyone have any idea of what I should do?

Here's what usually works on people like that:

Say in a very firm way: "Travis, I've copied your IM conversations and am forwarding them over to my local police. What you're doing is called stalking and it is illegal. I suggest you stop doing this before you get in to some major trouble".

Usually that works on cowardly people once they know the police might get involved. I hope it works out for the best!

This is really something you should consider doing. Also, if you're on AIM I'm pretty sure you can use a brand new name (along with the one you already have) then go invisible/private - obviously only give this out to people you know. I know it's gotta be a pain in the butt to go through all of that, but he doesn't need to have any contact with you. Good luck and I hope you're able to resolve this as soon as possible.

Thanks everyone. I actually have told him once that I'd do that, but obviously it hasn't helped. I talked to him a little while ago and I made sure to get his word down clearly that he's never talk to us again...so that next time if he does, I have it all there. I saved it all.

I sure hope that he gets the hint this time. What is strange is that I remember him posting here and he seemed like he was an okay kid. I never would have guessed that he would have turned out to be that sort of person.

You never know who anyone is. he did seem like an okay kid, but I have no idea why he won't give up on this.

Good idea. My daughter is having a problem with a girl who is constantly harassing my daughter on her myspace page. She asked me what she could do and I haven't a clue.
