In the ep-"Happy Birthday Pop" we learn that Fred Sanford is a fan of...........
GUNSMOKE-lol Lamont was saying something negative about the show and Fred said-"what's wrong with Gunsmoke? I thought that was funny since someone on here recently mentioned that they are tired of watching Gunsmoke-lol

Just saw that too.
During the shows first season Gunsmoke would be in it's 17th season. BTW, Gunsmoke was on CBS, so NBC was advertising for a CBS show in a way. |
