Default Rosie to Meet with 'Price' Producers!

ROSIE O'Donnell is meeting this week with producers of "The Price is Right," the controversial comic said on her blog this weekend.

"If they asked me, I sure would [host]," writes O'Donnell. "I will do my best. I love that show."

The confirmation of a meeting is the latest development in two TV sagas - Rosie's heated departure from "The View" and the search for a replacement for the retired Bob Barker - that have oddly come together this week.

At the Daytime Emmy Awards last Friday, Barker endorsed O'Donnell as a worthy successor backstage.

"She told me she loved 'The Price Is Right' and wanted to host it one day," said Barker.

"There's no doubt in my mind she could do the show. Now, whether they want a lady host, I don't know."

Scary, Brian! Rosie is too much of a loose cannon and wouldn't make good, hosting the show. For the sake of the show's fans, may she get turned down for the hosting job-it would be unbearable to watch with Rosie at the helm.

I guess they took Bob's words to task and are going to give her an audition.

Well that means I will be recording the Price is Right at 11am instead of the View-lol The ratings for the view would defintely FALL if Rosie was the new Host

Rosie O'Donnell hosting TPIR? Don't bet the house on it-not happening! In the best interest of the show to show Rosie the door and pass on her. For real Price is Right fans, we're more likely ready for Todd Newton to take the reigns as host of the show in season 36. The next dynamic duo in the game show industry in terms of hosts and announcers-Todd Newton and Rich Fields. If it happens, don't be surprised! The show will continue for years to come with Todd hosting. Rosie, in the meantime, needs to just take a hike-she's not game show hosting material.

Well apparently the meeting did not go well(thank GOD!). One of her demands was to film a MONTH's worth the show in FOUR days. That is absolutely nuts and impossible... Mondays when they tape 2 shows are already pretty insane.

Well I feel better knowing she has no chance.
