Married In Miami

Starring John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer reprise their roles as Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly in this new "The Office" spin-off sitcom. After Dunder-Mifflin has gone from successful to bankrupt in one week, newly-engaged Jim and Pam decide to look elsewhere for employment and a new start as soon-to-be married couple. Jim soon finds a executive sales representative position in Miami, Florida. But turns out the company is Mary Kay Cosmetics, after realizing he has no experience with cosmetics- he decides the job isn't for him, yet with a push from Pam and from the interviewer/co-worker, Brian Maxwell (David Schwimmer), Jim accepts the job. Yet Jim makes a deal with Brian-a fellow executive sales representative, that he only accepts as along there is a receptionist position available for his fiancee, Pam. Now, with Jim and Pam working together once again, they unite to make the rounds and get to know their co-workers with Brian's help. They meet and are befriended by the staff, which includes: the sophisticated, beautiful head of Marketing and Sales- Kelly Gardner (Rene Russo), the wannabe ladies man and head of Advertising- Steve Caldwell (Bill Paxton), the witty, charming accountant- Denise Baxter (Nia Long), and the sweet-hearted Southern belle and office manager- Tiffany Cavanaugh (Becki Newton). Also, Jim and Pam move into their very first apartment together, which is ran by their new landlord and landlady, Glenn and Bobbie Alden (John Goodman, Sharon Lawrence). The Aldens bicker and argue almost 24/7 and claim that is their way of showing their love for each other, which is often miscontrued for anger and resent by Jim, Pam, and other tenants. Also, Bobbie has been known to have the eye for strapping young men, and is very flirtatious, enticing, and seductive. Jim and Pam must face with everyday trials and tribulations, such as life, love, money, careers, families, friends, disagreements, planning a wedding, sex, deciding a future, moving, first time living together situations, and other minor (and major) everyday events that can happen to everyday good people, such as Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly-Halpert.

Episodes

Ep1: Pilot Episode:
Jim and Pam left Dunder-Mifflin, and moved into their Miami apartment after Jim accepts the job at Mary Kay Cosmetics. Jim makes a deal with Brian, which lands a receptionist position open for Pam to take. Jim and Pam get acquainted and meet their new staff members. Meanwhile, Jim and Pam encounter their first of many public arguement between Glenn and Bobbie, foolishly Jim and Pam decide to step in and help to try resolve the issues between the longtime married landlord and his landlady wife--which they soon regret.

Ep2: Love And Lost:
It's a bad day at the office. Kelly gets dumped by her longtime boyfriend and ends up taking her hurt feelings out on the staff, Denise and Steve buttheads over who is at fault when Denise accuses the advertising department is spending too much of the company's money, and Tiffany reveals her high school sweetheart fiancee is being sent to Iraq in a few weeks. Meanwhile, Brian shows Jim the ropes of being an executive sales rep for Mary Kay Cosmetics (since they are both men who are uneducated about cosmetics).

Ep3: Double Dating Disasters, Times Two:
Jim and Pam are invited over to Glenn and Bobbie's apartment for dinner one night. Everything is going great until Bobbie overcooks the pot roast, Glenn bought the wrong kind of salad dressing for the salad, and Pam becomes allergic to the Aldens' cat, Muffy. Elsewhere, Brian is asked to go on a double date with Steve and his college-aged girlfriend and her friend. Brian witnesses Steve trying to act younger and cooler to impress his girlfriend, Julie (Amanda Seyfried) and her friend/Brian's blind date.

Ep4: Rivalries and Rumors:
The staff is forced to put up with their rival company, Coastline Cosmetics. Coastline Cosmetics' arrogant head sales rep, Vince Green (Vince Vaughn) drops by MK Costmetics to make sure that they are attending the semi-annual cosmetic industry awards ceremony, that Coastline wins every year and Mary Kay has yet to win anything ever. During the ceremony, Kelly and Steve are ridiculed and falsely-rumored as partners-in-crime who are planning to branch out on their own and stealing all of MK's clients and profits. Kelly and Steve, along with help from Denise, Brian, Jim, Pam, and Tiffany, try to defend themselves and set everyone straight. Most surprisingly, Mary Kay Cosmetics wins an award: "Most Improved Cosmetics Sales" which shocks the entire staff and the every other company at the ceremony.

Ep5: An Honorable Man:
Tiffany begs Pam to accompany her as she goes to see her fiancee off to Iraq. Pam accepts and becomes teary-eyed herself (not even knowing her fiancee, but just the emotional situation is enough to make her sentimental). Then, Pam and Tiffany arrive back at the office just as the staff is about to take Jim and Pam out for drinks to celebrate their engagement. While out having a good time at the bar with the rest of the gang, Steve gets a call from a panic-stricken Julie-who wants to meet with him immediately to share a piece of information. Julie (Amanda Seyfried) then informs Steve that she is pregnant with his child.

Ep6: Telling Mom and Pop:
Steve decides he has to join Julie as she/they plan to break the news to her parents (Bob Saget, Julia Duffy)--who are anything but thrilled that their 22-year-old daughter is pregnant with her 45-year-old boyfriend's baby. Elsewhere, Jim and Pam have a sit-down talk about when to set a date for their wedding (they decide on a spring wedding), yet Jim wants a modern wedding as Pam wants a traditional wedding (and each of them aren't going to give in so easily-much to each other's dismay).
