Paint Shop Pro X Help - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have a problem with font sizes on Paint Shop Pro X. When I want to put text on an avatar and set the font to a small size, the text always comes out as a smudge and is completely unreadable.

For example, the black mark on her dress is supposed to say "Raven".

And this was when the font was set to Arial size 8. Then to try to make the font readable, I have to increase the size and it usually ends up being too big for the graphic I'm making.

Can anybody help??

Sorry, I don't do PSP. I hate it with a burning passion.

I use Adobe Photoshop. Itaught myself then used it in my graph arts classes. I know it with my eyes closed.

I have PSP7, so I'm probably not much help, but is the "Auto-Kearning" box checked on your font thing? It should be.

And it's for that (among other) reasons I hate Paintshop!!

It's not the most user friendly software.

Sorry - can't help - I use Adobe Elements / Illustrator

yep, the Auto Kearning box is checked.

Can you take a screenshot of what it looks like when you're trying to add text?
