Default Watching 15 eps on the DVD so far and I discover some new footage in closing credits

There was a scene in the closing credits for the ep WHODUNIT and CLASSROOM MARRIAGE where you saw the Highway before actually seeing the Brooklyn Sign. In syndication I always saw the Brooklyn sign never the highway footage before that. The Highway scene is a little longer in the ep-"Dr. Epstein I Presume"

Also I never knew that Horshack and Mr. Kotter were looking at a nudie magazine in the pilot ep. TV land cut that out. I also didn't know that the Sweasthoggs stole a cab to get to Mr. Kotter apt in the pilot ep

There were parts in the pilot I hadn't seen before (Arnold doing the hunchback, for example, and Epstein's little speech before Freddie said "Hi there!". I do remember them saying they borrowed the cab, and they were gonna bring it back, and Arnold saying "then why did we tie him up?". I don't remember if I saw that on syndication or on Nick, or both.

I think you saw them saying them borrowed the cab in your local syndication because that was cut out of N@N and TV land. I recall Horshack's hunchback being in the pilot on TV land along with Epstein's speech. What wasn;t on TV land was the part with arnold and kotter looking at the nudie magazine

One weird thing....the second episode has a Warner Bros. credit...but Wolper didn't sell his company to WB until 1976. If this was changed for syndication, then why weren't all the other episodes changed as well?

The closing credits in the eps are not all the same. Some run longer than others, and in the longer ones you hear more of the theme song. Perhaps some episodes wrapped up a little short in the time department, so they included a longer closing credit sequence.

One thing I've always wondered about with the closing credits, what the hell is that girl doing walking in front of the bus? She steps in front of the bus then steps back on the sidewalk. Whassup with that???
