If you saw a man and a woman having a fight in the street would you get involved?

I would only get involved by calling the police if I thought I needed to. No way would I get in the middle of that and get hurt over someone else's problems. I guess that sounds selfish but unless I could attack him with my pepper spray (which I do carry, thank you) I wouldn't try.

When I see things like that, I call the police. Never get in that mess, the male (or female) may have a weapon. Also, one of them may get mad at you for getting involved to begin with and take it out on you instead.

Id get involved if the guy was hitting the women because thats just wrong.Otherwise its there buisness so i guess leave them to it.

Same here I would call the police then seperate the guy from the woman.

Remember, if you get involved and the police show up you will be a witness and later subpoened. By then the victim may recant the whole thing. There are times the victim will recant right then and there when the police show up. Be prepared to give the details and then have the police let both of them go because it was your word against theirs.

Yeah but at least i tryed to of stopped the guy from beating his wife or whatever,when these situations accur you dont think about that you just help the person in need. Whatever happens after happens.

True. And I commend people for even helping. So many people just look the other way. You see crimes being committed and people just gawking.

That's true, but it's wrong for women to hit men as well. There shouldn't be violence in a relationship.

We don't hear about them so much, but there are man cases where it's the man suffering abuse.

Yes thats true i was going to put that in with what ive said before hand its not right for either sex to abuse,but i have to say that a man can do more harm to a women than a women can do to a man...am i right??? Plus its rare you hear a women hitting on a man.

Depends. A woman's hit in the face may not be as hard as a man's fist in a woman's face, however, the emotional and mental abuse is just as damaging. Not only that, women can use items as a weapon, not just their hands.

About 15 years or so ago, there was a very sad story here. It was New Years Eve, and the bars were just letting out in Cambridge, Mass. A guy starting hitting on his wife. An innocent bystander stepped in to help, and the nut stabbed him to death. I recall that the guy who died had about five or six kids. So no, don't get involved but always call the police.

as much it sounds tempting, the answer to that would be, no i wouldn't. as firstly, it's none of my business, unless the incident or situation resulted in me getting involved and secondly, i would worry if he physically lashed out in retaliation. regardless of whether it is a man hitting a woman or a woman hitting a man, it's unacceptable. and besides, as a woman myself, it is wrong to accept the idea of a woman hitting a man and yet not condemn the idea of a man hitting a woman. both instances are wrong and neither one of them should therefore be excused

I'm not sure. I know men are supposed to be physically stronger than women, but not all of them are. I've seen some boys/men that don't look too physically strong at all.
