Paris to Set Sail For Gilligan's Island?
The producers of a new Las Vegas production of "Gillian's Island: The Musical" are hoping to lure Paris Hilton to set sail to Sin City after her prison sentence ends later this month.

The brains behind the stage spectacular want the socialite to play Ginger in the show, which will star former "Brady Bunch" actor Barry Williams.

Hilton is expected to be released from the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, Calif., for good behavior on June 25. She is currently serving time there for violating her probation on a 2006 drunk driving arrest.

I'm sure whoever plays Ginger in a musical will have her hair dyed or wear a wig to match Ginger's haircolor.

They're basing the musical's Ginger on the character as portrayed in The New Adventures of Gilligan, so a blonde is appropriate.

And being a cartoon herself, Paris Hilton is especially appropriate.

That's was in response to it being moved from the General Sitcoms and discussion forum that I originally posted it in. I thought it was an insult to the show to put it here but it doesn't matter either way I suppose. I'll get over it, eventually.

Veering a little OT in order to soothe the wounded souls who have heard the news about that little spoiled ADHD rules-don't-apply-to-me pigmy airhead playing Ginger...

Ms. G. Hinkley-----After seeing your latest avatar I know you will find this interesting. Day before yesterday I was in the small town where my parents used to live and I wandered into a flea market/discount store. They had this big collection of old vinyl records and I actually found 3 of the Mamas and the Papas original albums on the Dunhill label-------If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears, Deliver, and Mamas and Papas. I couldn't believe it! There are lots of "best of" collections, but I haven't seen the original albums with the more obscure tracks included since 1982. Needless to say, I snatched them up immediately!
