Default Aunt Bee and the blonde wig...

I really like how Aunt Bee looks in that wig. She looks so much younger. Not so matronly. I hated how everyone made a big thing abt her wig.

I thought she looked great in that wig too. It looks like they did her makeup different too, especially her eyes. She could look very pretty done up differently. I guess matronly was the look they were going for, but you're right Irene.

I thought the wig looked good on her too, it made her seem more up to date with the times.

Janice and Annball, glad you see what I seen. Most definitely Janice, her face looked different, I couldn't pinpoint what it was. It has to be the make-up though because overall she had a great look going on. That wig made her look at least 15 years younger.

I also really liked the wig. And I noticed in the episode too that her makeup around the eyes was different, and now looking at that photo, it's the red lipstick too. I don't think I ever remember her wearing red lipstick any other time.
I think Andy didn't like it because he didn't like change, and I think her female friends (Clara in particular) didn't like it just because she did look so good in it. They seemed to be those kind of women, in a hush, hush, pleasantly polite kind of way.

I believe her friends were JEALOUS. I mean, why be upset at change when you look so much better? Her make-up is definitely different and it does make her look much more beautiful.

Thank you so much for posting those pics. Great job.

Ok, it appears the only slight difference in regards to make-up is the eyeliner is a bit heavier/darker on the eyelids. But the lipstick is the same. So, the dramatic change is in fact the wig. Wow! Even if she didn't have the dark eyeliner, she would still look great with that wig. It really makes her look young.

This was a funny episode...Floyd cracks me up when a group of them at Andy's house are talking quietly about wigs and how many are made in China. One of the ladies asks "I wonder if Bee's was made there" and Floyd says "I'll ask" and proceeds to holler across the room "Bee!" before the gossiping women hush him...

Put the wig on Barney and you've got the hottest thing since Tina Turner.
