Cool Weekend Chat!

Happy Weekend Everybody! I know, this thread gets posted earlier and earlier, lol....but it is Friday. What does everyone have planned? We're going to my husband's son's house for a Father's Day cookout. Other than that, not much going on.

I was going to post the same thing. This thread gets posted earlier and earlier. That's cool though, some people start their weekends on Friday afternoons.

I will go to the cemetary to place flowers for my father.

I will be off in a half hour to take my son to school.

I need to get some paperwork together for someone who is filing for divorce so I guess my butt will be stuck here at home for a few hours.

I am enjoying my boyfriend's new job. He goes in late in the afternoon so it gives us time to do things in the afternoon like go have lunch or check out the garden nurseries for more plants and flowers for our backyard garden. I love having the evenings alone. Well, not really alone, I have my kids here, but it is great.

Speaking of starting weekends on Friday afternoon, i'll be leaving in 20 minutes to start mine. It's my mother's 77th birthday today. So, i'll pick up some cold salads so she won't have to cook and we'll eat in the screenhouse
tonight.

Tomorrow, we'll do another celebration when the rest of my family can be there. We'll probably do pizza or hamburgers and hot dogs and of course cake.

Sunday, I don't know what is planned for Father's Day yet. Probably, a nice relaxing day. Hopefully, the weather will be nice.

I'd forgotten it was Father's Day until I saw the sign in a card shop.

I'll buy my Dad a card and present tomorrow.

I have an NA meeting tonight, then tomorrow afternoon, a birthday party/text study for a friend in NA, and then that night, I have my best friend's graduation party.

Sunday I have my sister's dance recital.

Well, both of my parents are out of town -- my dad until Wednesday and my mom until Sunday (dad left to go camping yesterday morning I think, and my mom just got on the road a little while ago to visit my sibs in the Twin Cities metro area). So I've got the house to myself. But I don't plan on being here long, I'm gonna head to a friend's for the weekend and I guess that's really about it.

I'm going to my nephew's graduation in a few hours.

Tomorrow I'm going to try my luck at the casino.

My boyfriend has to work Father's Day.

My sister and I along with the family will barbecue. I will take a plate of food to my boyfriend. We will celebrate Father's Day on another day I guess.

Tomorrow is my niece's bachelorette party. Two male strippers and drinks are in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
