Actress Farrah Fawcett has secretly jetted off to Germany in an effort to end her cancer nightmare.

After battling the disease last year and getting the all-clear, the former Charlie's Angels star was devastated to learn the cancer had returned last month.

And now she's hoping revolutionary new treatment in Germany can help her beat the disease once and for all.

A source says, "Farrah heard about a revolutionary new treatment being used by a top oncologist in Stuttgart and flew there on May 31."

The actress was accompanied on the trip to Europe by long-term on/off boyfriend Ryan O'Neal.

The source adds, "She was in a hospital, and Ryan was at her bedside, holding her hand and cheering her on. She was told the treatments will take three weeks."
