IDOJ "references" from other shows. - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was watching my collection of Golden Girls DVD's and I saw several "references" to IDOJ.

A couple of times Sidney Sheldon was mentioned.

Dorothy- "Hurry up, Rose. Even Sidney Sheldon tells shorter stories."
Rose to Blanche- "One time I read your diary. ....I was 7 pages in before I realized it wasn't a Sidney Sheldon novel."

Barbara Eden was mentioned once.

Sophia- ....What do you want me to do, show up with Barbara Eden and the All-American football team?"

And Cocoa Beach and astrounauts were mentioned.

Blanche- "I know a place in Cocoa Beach where we can pick up over the hill astronauts."

So far those are all I have since I only have Seasons 1-4, I'm sure I will find more later. I thought you would enjoy those. I sure did.

It may intrigue readers here that there was a reference to a Major Tony Nelson (in an indirect nod to IDOJ) in a Star Trek/Babylon 5 sci-fi crossover fanfiction story over on another website. Seems like one of the authors of that story is also a fan of IDOJ.
