I only saw mad about you in syndication so I don't know what happened it the end. What happened it the last ever episode?

the last episode shows mabel growing up at different ages, Jamie has a miscarriage when Mabel is maybe 5-8 years old and she and Paul get separated, at the end of all the flash ups where Mabel grows up, Paul and Jamie are separated, then it cuts back into the real time where they are saying their new vows to eachother since they weren't legally married because "lyle lovitt character" did not have a license to marry them.

the show leaves you not knowing if they ever divorced or got back together and ALOT OF FANS were very upset, but I know the real ending, you just had to really feel it and look hard to see the answer.

In her new vows she says something like "promise me you will always find your way back to me" and that is THE ANSWER, HE FOUND HIS WAY BACK TO HER those many years later while they were separated.

The episode starts off with janeane garaffalo playing Mabel in the future and she is making a documentary about her neurotic parents.
