I always thought that the Bradys were americas most loved TV family, but now I hear its the Camdens from 7th Heaven, I love the camdens as well but I still think the bradys are it.

I watched 7th Heaven, but I think the most loved family is the Brady Bunch. It is a part of American culture that isn't fading away. Everyone has a favorite Brady and most people can name over 10 different episodes, recalling minute details. They are more well-know than most characters in famous books, movies or other TV shows.

See if there is something here you can't identify: Kitty Karryall, the tiki caves, astroturf backyard, Buddy Hinton, Woodland Park, the most popular girl, the pilgrim movie, Scoop Brady, a broken vase, an erupting volcano, a boys' clubhouse, Doug Simpson, a house of cards, Romeo and Juliet, Harvey Klinger, Beebe Gallini, a house full of measles, a pay-telephone, an umbrella in a convertable, Dear Libby, a goat named Raquel, a dunking tank, a teeter-totter, Phil Packer, a chin-up contest, an attic bedroom, F-F-Fil, a wallet full of money, a father of the year, a ghost town, a meat locker, Tank Gates, a safety monitor, a UFO, Johnny Bravo, a driving contest, a secret admirer, itching powder, Desi Arnaz, Jr., a black wig, a surfing accident, Molly Webber, a suede fringed vest, a silver platter, pork chops and applesauce.

No other show is more familiar to a vast majority of Americans than the Brady Bunch. They get my vote for the most loved TV family.

I liked 7th Heaven too while it was on, and we have the first 3 seasons on DVD...I think the 4th season is out as well.

But there's no way the Camdens are ever going to equal the Bradys as far as being America's most loved TV Family...absolutely no way.

7th Heaven had so many extra characters over the years, the odds are that almost anyone who was a fan of the show has someone on that show that they absolutely HATE! I really couldn't stand T-Bone and those other two girls that were on in the last season or so...they were so annoying... and don't get me started on "Rose" (Simon's fiance). I also couldn't stand Ashley Simpson...

The Brady's friends were pretty nice for the most part... the most annoying character to appear on the Brady Bunch was Oliver, but he was only in the last six episodes...

The Bradys were just flat-out more likeable than the Camdens (because most of the Camden kids went through a truly annoying stage).

Yeah, I think the Bradys are more likeable... I did watch 7th Heaven and man, I had a tough time the last few years even watching it. Cause The Brady Bunch never did get away from the main characters, 7th Heaven did for the last few years.. I hated that... 7th Heaven should have ended last year when it was in it's 10th season, not this past year...

I agree with what you said Tweety.
