I didn't like the perm look on these characters. Anyone else?

Gloria Bunker
Christine Armstrong
Roseanne
Mike Brady
Chrissy Seaver
Mickey Dolenz
Jennifer Keaton

And I didn't like the big hair look on the Facts of Life girls either, especially Jo.

I didn't like Roseanne`s red perm either. Her mushroom haircut was pretty bad too.

The Facts Of Life girls` big hair wasn't too pretty, but their mullet`s were even worse!

I didn't like Lisa`s hair when she made it straight, on Saved By The Bell.

And Carol`s puffy do in the first season of Growng Pains was bad.

I did not perm look hair on the following people:
Christine Armstrong Fox - Shelley Fabares looked hot in the last season with her hair straight and long. Shelley always been an attractive actress since her days on the Donna Reed Show.

Gloria Bunker Stivic - First Season with the Shirley Temple curls

Alice Hyatt - Towards the end of the sixth season and into the seventh season.

Janet Wood - I could not stand that look on her and I was glad she cut it and it brought out Joyce DeWitt's beauty and made Janet more likable not so den mother like as it was in her appearance in the first three seasons of Three's Company.

From long hair to short hair on the following people:

Alice Hyatt - her hair was great the third and fourth season until the fifth season she chopped it off

Elyse Keaton - I did not like the short Mary Tyler Moore style cut in the second season. I understand that they were trying to make her look slightly older because many were still associating Meredith Baxter Birney as the oldest daughter, Nancy, on Family and still look like her.

I guess I'm the only one who liked Sally Struther's curly 'do from the first season.

Probably the biggest hair don't in recent TV history was when Jennifer Aniston cut off her famous Rachel cut hairdo for a short bob cut.

Man what a media storm that caused. She was pretty much forced to grow her hair back.

Also Keri Russell's decision to cut off all her curly locks during Felicity's run was a big no no.

What about John Goodman's perm?! Now that was BAD!! Thank God he didn't use it too long!

I loved Shirley's hair in the early seasons of L&S but I think she should've let it grow more long.

I hated it in I Love Lucy, when Ethel would have her hair nice and long and in the next ep it'll be cut totally short. She looked so much better with longer hair.

A big hair don't moment was when Martin Crane colored his hair really dark on an episode of Frasier and he went to a dinner party and sat next to the burning fireplace and his hair dye started running.

John Goodman had his hair colored and other funny looking styles because of movie roles he was doing at the time, most notably The Flintstones.

On "The Cosby show", Denise (Lisa Bonet) and Vanessa (Tempestt Bledsoe) liked to change their hair styles. Unfortuneately, neither one of them look good in short hair. And who can forget Vanessa's mushroom perm in the fifth season? Yuck!

lea thompson as caroline duffy in caroline in the city in the third season when in the episode, 'caroline and the blind date' she has that really short cut. i really disliked that look, it was truly awful. glad she grew her hair longer later on in the series and as it looked better in the fourth season. then again, lea looks much better with longer hair anyway

I loved Lea Thompson's short hairdo so much in 1997 that I chopped off my own long hair to have a similar 'do. Since I'm tall with an oval-shaped face, that was a TERRIBLE look on me!!

I've since grown my hair out and it's halfway down my back. I will NEVER chop it off again!!!

i just thought that she didn't look good with that haircut and it didn't suit the distinct 'roundness' of her face. i read that on one point, lea admitted that she hated it. i couldn't agree with her more. when she was on celebrity duets last year on tv, i thought she looked wonderful with that long, curly hair

I bed to differ with Lisa's hairdo straight in the last season. Loved it!

Thelma's short hair in the last season of Good Times. She grew out her hair to her shoulders and wore it long for the first six episodes of the last season of the show. Next thing we know, it was cut short.

Thelma looked hot with long, curly and straightened hair.

Naomi Harper's curly hair in the syndication run of Mama's Family. It looked better straightened during the NBC run.

Valene's mullet and then frizzy hair during the ninth season on Knots Landing. She got herself a nice little cut during the middle of season ten and then was looking good throughout season eleven.

Vanessa's mushroom sided afro on The Cosby Show during the beginning of the 88-89 season.

Moesha Mitchell's short do during season five of Moesha. It was better at the beginning of the season five as long and curly weave. Sadly, she went short but then weaved it again with long straightened hair.
