If you have a multi system VCR then I can trade Aussie tapes with you for American ones .
We use the English PAL system here , as opposed to your NTSC .
My video plays NTSC / PAL / SECAM so have no problems in trading , SECAM is mainly French / Russian standard.
So if you have the right VCR , please e mail me at dykpfd@yahoo.com.au and we can swap tapes , you will get to see what's on Oz TV , I will get to see your TV , apparently you have lots more advertisements than we do Down Under.
I have access to cable and local TV , about 45 channels in all .Bye now.

I found a multi system VCR like the one you mentioned , I'll get one when the price drops dramatically . Right now , they sell for $ 800.00 to $ 1,000.00 depending on where you buy them.

Is there any English programmes you are interested in, it is PAL tapes so you would be able to play them.

I have a few hundred channels.

I am a great fan of British comedy , in fact I just ordered and received Auf WIedersehen Pet (the ones I dont have already)
We are having a Steptoe and Son marathon here soon , you may be interested in that , 4 complete series I think , back to back .
