It was never really explained. I would assume that they were intoxicated though.

Glad you caught pieces of the movie. I guess your attention was elsewhere.

The guys were on the bridge twice in that movie. The first scene they are just being guys, hanging out, being drunk and being brave as they are hanging and dancing on the bridge. The second time they are on the bridge, they are there after "raping" Annette and Bobby C. has been feeling depressed over certain matters. It is said in the movie by John's character that he didn't kill himself, however, there he was being foolish on the bridge and seeking some sort of attention. So you pretty much have to draw your own conclusion as to whether he was threatening suicide and wanting help, not wanting to really die and then he accidently fell, or he was wanting to kill himself but as he was up there he fell before he could just jump off the way he wanted.

Cute BUT annoying. I can agree with that statement. "All I ever did was like you."

That screaming/crying of hers when Bobby C. fell was sure annoying. What the hell was that?

"Why do you hate me so much?" His response should've been, "Because you are annoying and desperate as hell!"

He called her a c**t.

I can see it now, "You want me Annette? Ok, fine then, here lay down..." *gets to business*...ten minutes later..."There, you satisfied?"

But it was true what he said to her, had he had sex with her, she'd think they were going together and he didn't want anyone to think they were an item.

What she should have said was, "I am a lady in public, but in private, I am nasty as hell."
