Has anybody out there been watching this? The comments themselves were pretty funny and I admit, there's at least one or two or.. three.. that I like.

I saw Hall & Oates in concert in 2002. It was an outdoor venue on a HOT, muggy August night, and couples were still dancing in the aisles when they played "One on One".

Christopher Cross...did you know that his "Think of Laura" got popular after General Hospital played it? The song hit the charts at the same time Genie Francis was returning to the show as Laura.

Anything by Air Supply, the Carpenters, Roberta Flack, Chicago, etc. could make this list, really. Anything written by Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager, Diane Warren, Tom Snow, Cynthia Weil, etc. would also qualify.

Not sure if "This is it" belongs on the list, Not my idea of a soft-rock tune, More up-tempo if anything and where the heck is "Killing Me Softly with His Song" by Roberta Flack?

There's more softness in that list than a bottle of Downy, I wonder if I could print it and use it for dryer sheets?

Ok, for those who actually watched the countdown, did you all see some of those ugly mugs of those singers? My God, last night I again watched part of the countdown (my boyfriend was actually watching it for the first time) and Dan Hill (Sometimes when we touch) was FUGLY!!! Back in those days we didn't have music videos, we saw the artists on American Bandstand and so forth. I don't ever recall seeing Dan Hill. He looked like a cross between that Geico caveman guy and a chimpanzee!

However, Dan Hill redeemed himself in my book with his fantastic 1987 duet with Vonda Shepard, "Can't We Try". That happens to be one of my all-time favorite songs.
