Is a Webcam easy to use? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I will be buying one tomorrow and don't want to be aggravated when trying to hook it up once I get back. I think I have everything I need to use the webcam, a laptop with internet access. So is there anything I need to know?

yes it's very easy to use you just gotta install the softwear right then you'll be all set... and you take picture's of yourself has well, its pretty neat I have to buy a new one on my next paycheck..

See if you can get one that comes with different bases... A base so you can rest the 'cam on a hard, flat surface, and another base so you can rest the 'cam on the top of your laptop screen. Logitech is a good place to start for that. Something like this.

Webcams are for pervs--and I used to work at an electronics store, so I have plenty of reason to think that.

Solomon, it is really easy. My sister is in Argentinia right now and she has a Mac labtop with a built in web cam on it and through Skype it looks like she is in the next room, it is that clear. We have a little cheapo camera on our end, but it does the job. Doesn't take long to set up at all.

Yeah I did get it on Friday and everything is hooked up and my pictures came out nice and now I'm ready to enter the world of Online Dating-lol Let the GAMES begin
