NOT TO REVEAL ANYTHING about Tommy having a Sprained Foot. But when Alice came rushing into the Diner saying-"OMG Tommy was not in school today" Vera says-"OH DON"T WORRY TOMMY IS.... and then realized she screwed up. So of Course Alice was going to Kep asking her wat's wrong with her son. Vera couldn't even do that right-lol

What does Tommy having a sprained foot have to do with her job? That was a personal thing, not job related. She could have sued Mel for firing her if he fired her for a personal matter.

I agree. Vera telling on Mel had nothing to do with her doing her job.

How did you like the cherades game Vera played? I think the funniest part was when Vera made like she was holding a baby, and Flo says "Mel got Alice pregnant", which Alice makes like a disgusted face, and Flo starts apologizing, saying she didn't mean that.

We also got to hear Mel make a crack about his own food. He leaves (to get Tommy), but says he's getting food for his poker game. Flo asks why he doesn't bring food from the diner, to which he replies "these are my friends!"

I know, those two scenes/moments cracked me up.

Alice had that disgusted look on her face like she just ate some bad food at Mel's.

The moment Mel said "These are my friends." I was just rolling.

I thought to myself, "Damn, and he charges people for his food."

You'll get to see her do Sam Butler at least two more times. Once more this season on "The Last Stow It (2)", and 5th season "Alice Locks Belle Out"
