THE knives were out for Lindsay Lohan, who will miss today's MTV Movie Awards, but this time the troubled actor was the one wielding the blade.

Britain's News of the World published a new set of shocking Lindsay Lohan images which shows Lindsay Lohan holding a blade to her friend's throat and the 20-year-old actress placing the tip of a knife in her own mouth.

In another shot, Lohan's friend is seen sliding another blade down the Mean Girls star's breast.

The newspaper reported the images were taken at a house party four months ago.

A source told the newspaper: "These photos are very worrying. Lindsay is so out of control. She should not be left within a million miles of a knife. The states Lindsay gets herself into she is lucky to be alive."

Lohan is in rehab at Malibu's Promises centre after a wild Memorial Day weekend in the US, during which she crashed her Mercedes-Benz into a curb, was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence and was photographed slumped in the passenger seat of a friend's car.

Meanwhile, debris from Lindsay Lohan's smashed car was being sold on eBay.

Pieces of wreckage from the black Mercedes Lohan crashed last weekend, while allegedly high on drink and drugs, have appeared on the internet auction site.

The seller claimed to have picked up the car parts right from the scene of the smash on Los Angeles' Sunset Boulevard.

Included among the lot were the vehicle's headlights and damaged body parts.

The description of the items read: "THE HISTORIC DOWNFALL OF HOLLYWOOD'S STARLETS IS CLEARLY UPON US. FIRST, PARIS HILTON IS GIVEN JAIL TIME AND NOW LINDSAY'S ACCIDENT MAY MARK THE END OF INNOCENCE AND LUCK OF HOLLYWOOD'S YOUNG, RICH AND FAMOUS.

The current highest bid for all the pieces stood at $20,500 last week.

Lindsay was driving her black Mercedes convertible along Sunset Boulevard when she clipped the curb and hit bushes at 5.30am last Saturday. She then fled the scene of the accident.

Police officers discovered a "usable amount" of cocaine in the vehicle during their search.

Lindsay - who had been partying at Les Deux nightclub before moving on to a private bash and then the Sky Bar at the Mondrian hotel - was charged with DUI (driving under the influence) at the Century City Doctors Hospital, where she was treated for minor chest injuries.

I guess she needs to hit rock bottom before she gets help and makes an effort to move forward. I seen some pics in a tabloid, it's rediculous.
