Couldn't another network pick up George Lopez? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I know this has been done before. One example I can think of is when Unsolved Mysteries went from NBC to CBS.

It's a joke that ABC is thinking about renewing According to Jim and not George??? Not to mention the 2 lower rated rookie shows that are coming back and cavemen!??!?

Hell, even if a cable network picked it up for one last season that's be great too.

And forget all this stuff about a Latino show because George Lopez had mostly non-Latino viewership like me!

I am totally bummed out about it too. Perhaps George Lopez did not want to go to another network.

No chance. George didn't want his show to end like this so abruptly so he would have gone to another network to keep his show.
