Five boring TV Wives - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Here are my five:

Kate Tanner - ALF (Great actress Anne Schedeen is but her role as Kate Tanner was boring and they wrote her as that.
Muriel Rush - Too Close for Comfort (Nancy Dussault is another great sitcom and underrated sitcom actress. They wrote Muriel not too well.)
Rhoda Morgenstern Gerald - After marrying Rhoda off to Joe the edge of Rhoda was gone and she was the same character we all known to love.
Joanna Loudon - Newhart (Mary Frann was not funny but she was a good looking actress)
Ann Romano Royer - One Day At A Time (When Ann married Sam the marriage was not written well plus the thing that turned me off when she kept her maiden name and not take on his name.)

June Cleaver - more of a Maid then a wife/mother (guess it was the times)

Claire Huxtable - was boring to see her always right and almost belittling Cliff at times

Vivian Banks - She was jus a boring character all the way around IMO

Carol Brady - She was another boring character that the show could have gone on with and you wouldnt have noticed she was gone

Vivian Banks-Fresh Prince boring.
Claire Huxtable-Cosby Show snob.
Joy Stark-Til Death, not a very likeable wife.
Jill Taylor-Home Improvement, boring.
Debra Barone-Everybody Loves Raymond Not very likeable kind of rude.

Becky Donaldson - Full House
Edith Bunker - AITF
Vivian Banks #2 - Fresh Prince
Sarah Carter - LHOP

No offense at all to the actresses playing the characters, but either the characters got watered down after marriage (Becky) or recasting (Vivian), or were just poorly developed in the first place (Sarah, Elizabeth).
