Shouldn't CBS RENAME the Price is Right Game show since there will be a new host? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I don't know if the title "THE NEW PRICE IS RIGHT" would work but wouldn't it make sense to change the title along with the new host? I think everything should be different, the new host should not come through TWO DOORS, and the name should be changes simply because we are entering a new era of the show so it's no need for it to be similar to the wa it was when BOB was the host. Anyone agree? Shouldn't the goal for CBS be to make you FORGET about the OLD PRICE IS RIGHT when watching the new one?

Wasn't there a time when it was called THE NEW PRICE IS RIGHT? For the night version they had a long time ago? I could've sworn I seen that title before.

There might have been but a NAME CHANGE would make so much sense

They didn't change the name of the tonight show, so they shouldn't do that to TPIR.

Your right Irene, when the show came back in 1972 for the 1st season it was referred to as the new price is right

Yes they did, It's called the Tonight Show with Jay Leno-lol So maybe the Price is Right can have the new host name in the Title

No problem Irene, I have a feeling it will still be referred to as the price is right but almost everything about season 36 is up in the air. Until the new host is named they can't do a thing. That will not happen until at the very earliest the middle of June.
