Was I the only one who thought that Miss Beadle's name...
was MISS BEATLE? I used to wonder why they would name the school teacher after a bug...
 Then one day when I checked out the credits real good (during its first run) I noticed the spelling. But they sure had me fooled for a while.

I always thought it was Miss Beetle as well. That's the way I've always pronounced it!

Looks like the Miss Beadle thongs have been discontinued, but you can still get Miss Beadle boy's briefs.

I found a link to the book she wrote and so far it's eye opening. But I love reading about how actors and actresses are so different than their characters. Her book is called "Little House in the Hollywood Hills" and there's a preview of the first 8 chapters on Amazon.
