A Los Angeles County judge has issued a bench warrant for the "Saving Private Ryan" actor's arrest, reports TMZ.com.

The warrant went out as a result of his being booked on drug charges in Bakersfield earlier in May, which may have been a violation of his probation for a 2004 drug conviction.

It wouldn't have been the first time Sizemore had violated probation ever since he was convicted in October 2004 for methamphetamine possession. In early 2006, he had his probation lengthened by three additional years for using drugs. He also once had his probation temporarily revoked for having a Whizzinator -- a prosthetic device equipped with clean urine -- was found during one of Sizemore's drug tests.

A date for the probation violation hearing has not been set.

The "Black Hawk Down" star last appeared in 2003's "Dreamcatcher," the thriller "Paparazzi" and as Pete Rose in the TV movie "Hustle."

How this guy is still alive is beyond me! He is such a talented actor though.

Oh hell yeah he is. I have seen his work. I have never been an addict, but I have sympathy for those who are addicted. I have seen too many people be addicted to something and it is not a pretty sight. I just hope whatever happens, he finds the strength to get through this. I would like to see him return to the screen and make a comeback. If Robert Downey Jr. can hit bottom and come back up, than so can Tom.

I absolutely agree. He has a disease and needs help. I loved him in True Romance.
