In "Star in the Store" I was curious to hear what he sounded like. Instead, we got Alice singing a little diddy. I am wondering if they cut that out or something???

Well he didn't sing on his guest stint on "Mama's Family" either---maybe he just doesn't like to sing on TV, lol.

If you were watching and listening closely you could actually figure out what was cut from the jerry reed episode...after the second commercial Flo returns to the them over crowed diner (word that jerry was there was cut) she then announced the dry cleaners had cleaned his suit in a record 20 minutes, later you hear alice say jerry's suit was runied twice....the ketchup spill but then it was cleaned and ruined again...the second spill was edited and the viewer was led to beleive, the dry cleaner cleaned the ketchup in 20 minutes when in actuallity it was the second spill...then of course jerry gets his suit ruined for a third time by the outside crowd....then mel gives him his clothes which was also cut!

I haven't compared the two airings (E! vs ION), but the second spilling (that was apparently cut out, based on the last post) was in the storeroom. I think Jerry was having a bowl of ice cream, and someone (Vera?) said he needed some chocolate syrup, which, of course, ended up getting spilled all over Jerry's clean clothes.

I remember ketchup and chocolate syrup being the culprits.

I don't remember seeing him on Mama's Family. Which episode was that? Did he play himself? |

It was a network NBC episode (meaning Frannie, Buzz and Sonja, not syndication with Iola or Bubba).
He played one of Naomi's ex-husbands, Leonard Oates. It's a great episode!
