OK, I heard somewhere that Sony now ownes the publishing rights to TPD show. I don't knoiw if this is old new or what but it has me excited! Just wanted to pass the word on.

I have a friend who REALLY wants this released on DVD. How many episodes did it run?

I think it was a 104 total. Im soo happy that Sony will have contorl of the TPD show. Hopefully soon they will release the whole series!

Since Sony now owns what was the United Artists TV library, naturally they have the rights to distribute "THE PATTY DUKE SHOW"....but priority on that is as much on their corproate minds as they would be releasing "MY MOTHER THE CAR" or "HIGHWAY PATROL" soon.....

yea, on their website-www.sonypictures.com -they have a list of shows that you can vote on for them to put on DVD; and none of those shows are on it!!

Yeah these stupid companies like Sony keep acquiring rights to properties and then just sit on them. BOO!
